Mr. CHHOY Bunnak
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Chhoy Bunnak is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he has many years of extensive experience in the finance and credit services sector. He has led and developed numerous financial institutions, focusing on sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
From 2016 to 2019, he led business development strategies and strengthened operational capabilities, which contributed significantly to the growth of the financial lease portfolio and the improvement of service quality. Under his leadership, the team was developed to achieve high capacity and effectively adapt to market changes.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management and a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance. Additionally, he participated in several international training programs, including Strategy Execution from Harvard Business School, The Toyota Way of Management for Company-wide Operational Improvement in Japan, and Performance Management in Malaysia that have further strengthened his capabilities in operational management and the highly effective execution of business strategies.
As CEO, he is committed to leading the institution toward continued sustainable growth, enhancing value for clients, shareholders, employees, and all stakeholders, while actively contributing to the development of Cambodia's financial sector.
Mr. HORT Sovuthy
Head of Strategic Planning and Analysis Department
Mr. Hort Sovuthy joined Mega Leasing Plc. in April 2014 as the Deputy Head of the Finance Department and was subsequently promoted to Head of the Finance Department in 2016. In October 2025, he was appointed as the Head of the Strategic Planning and Analysis Department, a newly established department. He has over 18 years of experience in the financial sector, having worked extensively across both microfinance institutions and financial leasing companies.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc, Mr. Sovuthy worked at IPR Microfinance Institution. He began his career there in 2007 as an Accountant and progressively promoted through various roles, including Head of Accounting and Finance and Head of Credit.
Mr. Hort Sovuthy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Cambodia Mekong University in 2009 and successfully passed the Tax Agent professional qualification exam organized by the General Department of Taxation (GDT) in July 2014. Additionally, he has participated in numerous local and international training courses and seminars focusing on financial management, taxation, strategic planning, and data analytics within the banking and microfinance sectors.
Ms. Chan Somphos
Head of Finance Department
Ms. Chan Samphos joined Mega Leasing Plc. in October 2019 as the Accounting Manager, was promoted to Deputy Head of the Finance Department in 2024, and was subsequently promoted as the Head of the Finance Department in January 2026. She has over 9 years of professional experience in the finance sector and financial leasing institutions.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Ms. Samphos worked at Deloitte (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., one of the big four auditing firms in Cambodia. She began her career there in 2017 as an Auditor.
Ms. Chan Samphos graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Innovation from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2017 and obtained a Diploma of Business from UTS Insearch, Australia, in 2015. She also successfully passed the Cambodia Tax professional qualification exam in June 2025 and the Cambodian Business Law exam in December 2019 at CamEd Business School in Cambodia. She is currently pursuing her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification from the United Kingdom. Additionally, she has participated in numerous local and international training courses and seminars focusing on financial management, taxation, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), strategic planning, and data analytics within the banking and microfinance sectors.
Ms. CHHEANG Rotha
Head of Human Resource and Administration Department
Ms. Chheang Rotha joined Mega Leasing Plc. in July 2018 as the Head of the Human Resources and Administration Department. She has over 28 years of professional experience across the private sector, microfinance institutions, and financial leasing companies.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Ms. Rotha worked at Toyo Construction & Engineering, Green Central Microfinance Institution, and AEON Microfinance Institution. She began her career in 1998 as the Secretary to the General Manager and progressively promoted through various leadership roles, including Deputy Head of Human Resources and Administration and Head of Human Resources and Administration.
Ms. Chheang Rotha obtained a Diploma in Business Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia in 2003, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Preston University, USA, in 2004, and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia, in 2018 and she earned a Professional Certificate in Labor Law and official credentials from the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia in 2026. She has also participated in numerous training courses and seminars within Cambodia focusing on administrative management, human resources, finance, and marketing within the banking and microfinance sectors.
Mr. KHEN Kosal
Head of Internal Audit Department
Mr. Khen Kosal joined Mega Leasing Plc. in October 2022 as the Head of the Internal Audit Department. He has over 16 years of professional experience across the private and financial sectors, having worked extensively within private firms, banking institutions, and financial leasing institutions.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Mr. Kosal worked at external auditing firm and Hattha Bank Plc. He began his career in 2010 as an External Auditor and progressively promoted through various roles, including Internal Audit Officer, Senior Internal Audit Officer, Internal Audit Manager, and Deputy Head of the Branch Internal Audit Department.
Mr. Khen Kosal graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Preah Kossomak Polytechnic Institute, a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Cambodia Mekong University in 2009, and a Master's degree in Finance from the National University of Management (NUM) in 2012. Additionally, he has participated in numerous local and international training courses and seminars focusing on management and internal audit expertise within the banking, finance, microfinance, and financial leasing sectors.
Mr. SO Bunneth
Head of Operations Department
Mr. So Bunnet joined Mega Leasing Plc. in July 2017 as a Branch Manager. He progressively promoted to Regional Operations Manager and Deputy Head of the Operations Department, and was subsequently appointed as the Head of the Operations Department in January 2026. He has over 24 years of professional experience across the education and financial sectors, having worked within educational institutions, banks, microfinance institutions, and financial leasing institutions.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Mr. Bunnet worked at Kroya Secondary School and Vision Fund Cambodia (currently known as Woori Bank). He began his career in 2002 as a teacher and steadily developing his expertise as a Credit Officer, Recovery Officer, Chief Credit Officer, Provincial Branch Manager, and Regional Operations Manager.
Mr. So Bunnet graduated with a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Angkor City Institute in 2017 and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Angkor City Institute in 2005. Additionally, he participated in numerous training courses and seminars within Cambodia focusing on operational management and credit services within the banking, finance, microfinance, and financial leasing sectors.
Mr. CHENG Samat
Head of Business Development Department
Mr. Cheng Samat joined Mega Leasing Plc. in March 2018 as a Sales and Marketing Officer. He has been progressively promoted to Senior Sales and Customer Relations Officer, Business Development Manager, and was subsequently appointed as the Head of the Business Development Department in 2023. He has over 19 years of professional experience across the private sector, humanitarian organizations, and the financial industry, working with private enterprises and financial leasing institutions.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Mr. Samat worked with humanitarian organizations, logistics companies, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He began his career in 2007 as a Human Resources Officer and steadily developed his expertise through roles as an Accounting Officer, Senior Accountant, Logistics Officer, and Administration Manager, operating in both Cambodia and Laos.
Mr. Cheng Samat graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Build Bright University in 2008. Prior to completing his degree, he was awarded a scholarship to study Human Resource Management from 2004 to 2007 at Maharishi Vedic University. Additionally, he participated in numerous local and international training courses and seminars focusing on product development and marketing within the banking, finance, microfinance, and financial leasing sectors.
Mr. Vandeth Sopanha
IT Manager
Mr. Vandeth Sopanha joined Mega Leasing Plc. in 2015 as a Senior IT Officer and was subsequently promoted to IT Manager in 2017. He brings over 17 years of professional experience across the private and financial sectors, having worked within private enterprises, microfinance institutions, and financial leasing institutions.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Mr. Sopanha worked at Metfone and AMK Microfinance Institution. He began his career in 2009 as an IT Support Officer and progressively advanced through various roles as a Systems Support Staff.
Mr. Vandeth Sopanha graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Norton University in 2008. Additionally, he participated in numerous local and international training courses and seminars focusing on IT management within the banking, finance, microfinance, and financial leasing sectors.
Mr. Heang Sopheak
Risk Management and Compliance Manager
Mr. Heang Sopheak joined Mega Leasing Plc. in March 2025 as the Risk Management and Compliance Manager. He has over 16 years of professional experience across the private sector, education, and financial industries, having worked in private enterprises, educational institutions, commercial banks, specialized banks, microfinance institutions, and financial leasing institutions.
Prior to joining Mega Leasing Plc. Mr. Sopheak worked at Bangkok Bank PCL, KB Daehan Specialized Bank Plc., Chip Mong Group, DFI Lucky Private Limited, and spent several years as an English Teacher at Westline Education Group Co., Ltd. He began his career in 2010 as an English Teacher and progressively transitioned into the legal and compliance staff, advancing through roles as a Legal Officer, Deputy Head of Legal and Compliance, and Head of Legal and Compliance.
Mr. Heang Sopheak graduated with a Master’s degree in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in 2018. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (English Language Program, on a 100% scholarship) from the University of Cambodia (UC) in 2016, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature (on a 50% scholarship) from Western University in 2014. Additionally, he earned a Regulatory Compliance Certificate from the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) in 2024 and a Risk Management Certificate from the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA) in 2025. He has also participated in numerous domestic training courses and seminars focusing on internal control, risk management, and compliance within the banking, finance, microfinance, and financial leasing sectors.
